Swimmer
Swimmer provided Bastard #1 with the worst moment of his radio career. This group. led by a New Yorker who sang in a pretentious British accent, came to perform a concert for our radio station. While setting up, they bitched and complained that they couldn't hear out of their earpieces (even though they were sent the specs of the sound system before hand). The station ended up forcing them to play 4 songs at the end of the night to a crowd of like 6 people, even though a couple hundred were there when they should have gone on stage. Afterwards, the lead singer was heard on a cell phone saying it was the worst gig he's ever done. Bastard #1 had to be restrained from beating the living shit out of him.

They have one album from 1999 on Maverick, called "Surreal." Sadly, it's very good. They sued a band from the Midwest with the same name and supposedly won to keep their name. But they dropped off the face of the earth and haven't been heard from since. Bastard #1 likes to think that this gig had something to do with it.

What happened to Swimmer???

Swimmer "Surreal"

UPDATE! November 2006

Jeff Thall, guitar: since their only album in 1999, Thall has done guitar
work for Michael D'Agostino, Einstein, Life of Agony, and Common Rotation.

Chad Royce, drums: apparently has played drums for a band called
Darediablo.

Anday McCarron, singer; and James Elliott, bass, have pretty much vanished.
